Oh also in my game there are some T-pose NPCs and V is wearing underwear even if nudity is allowed. I have spend over 16h trying to fix this. dll files for windows that allegedly fixed same kind of problem for Witcher 3 back in the day.Īnd probalby another 101 different things. Reinstalled game/ verified files multiple times.ĭeleted and tweaked game user files manually. Reinstalled NVIDA drivers and audio with DDU. PC build last month, new parts and fresh windows 10 install.Īudio/video HDMI: RTX 3070 -> Pioneer VSX-934 7.1 Home Theater -> Samsung Qled 80T 49"Īll speaker configurations from 2.0 stereo to 7.1 home theather. Game installed in drive C: SSD Samsung 970 EVo Plus M.2PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe I cannot hear: random NPC speak, enemy weapons, granades/explosions, no disco/radio music. I can hear: Vs voice, story characters dialogue, my weapons sounds, some world element sounds random chatter etc. It isn't just tied to my headphones either, as I've tried using just my speakers and then another set of headphones, no change. I even tried the fixes listed for audio crackling, and there hasn't been any change. I've tried every solution listed so far in this forum to no result, as well as using GOG's verify game files twice now to get a 4GB download that does nothing. This awkward lack of gunfire and melee sounds as well as no music, only ambience, is really holding me back from playing any further until this gets fixed. When testing out melee, there is no audible sound for impacts for anything. So, whenever I fire at a faraway target, it's literally silent. I can hear the impact of the bullets upon surfaces, and the empty casings hitting the ground, but no gunfire sound. I only truly realized it upon reaching the tutorial for using guns, but the firing of the firearms is muted, and the reloading sound for the rifle is also not present (although the pistol does audibly reload). There are empty sequences which feel like there should be music (and I checked, there should) and there isn't for me. I didn't even realize there was main menu music until watching a video. and it really would be a waste of money if i cant activate sorround sound. No music, besides the opening cinematic music, is playing at all for me. I also noticed that if i connect the audio cable directly to the audio card jack it sounds loud and with no problems at all. I could really use some help, thanks in advance and it really would be a waste of money if i cant activate sorround sound. i removed the headset drivers and unplugged em, installed older version again and restarted pc, plugged it again and it did recognize it but the problem was still there, volume on LGS is at 100%, The headsets controller audio is set as high as it can, Audio on PC also at 100%. after restarting the sound was awfully low and i could barely hear it. installed the latest version again and accidently clicked the restart button. first of all, i installed the latest LGS version (8.83.85) and configured the new mouse i got (G502) i noticed that it didnt recognize my new headsets and i decided to google for a bit.after a while i ended up downloading an older version of LGS (8.58.183) they did work, could enable sorround 7.1 sound and everything was completely fine (Microphone is conected directly to mic jack and not in the USB connector where its supossed to be in), the sound was good and i decided to uninstall that version of LGS since i didnt need it anymore. i just unboxed this like 4 hours ago and i did a lot of stuff to make them work. The first i want to say is that my english sucks and im sorry if i do a lot of grammatical errors.
